Oshipimigegowaak

Oshipimigegowaak (Oshipimigegowaak: Oshipimigemetija, IPA: [oʃɪpʰɪmɪketʰɪt͡ʃə]) is a language isolate spoken by about 120 thousand people, with about 100 thousand living in the northeast of the Sultanate of Tonayu. The nearly 20 thousand that don’t live in Tonayu are either assimilated to or hidden in their new homelands, mostly forgetting their native culture. The language is well-known across Sadlen’s linguists for its heavily polysynthetic and agglutinative morphology. The name of the language is actually a misunderstanding of their discoverers. Oshipimigegowaak (Oshipimigegowaak: [oʃɪpʰɪmɪkekowakʰ]) is the name of their ancestral homeland in Tonayu while the language is natively known as Oshipimigemetija.
